more QLD Flood relief efforts - wonky log cabins

I had a belated FNSI, and sewed up a storm on Saturday.
I had lots of strips set aside for some reason, so I decided to do something useful with them and have made up some scrappy wonky log cabin blocks.

the blocks made with 2 1/2" strips come together quicker,
but I think I like the 1 1/2" strips best

I will send these off to retro mummy shortly.

This gave me an opportunity to have a practice run before I cut up my black & white and red fabrics for a quilt cover for our bedroom.

  1. These look fantastic. I like the 1.5" ones too, but I can imagine they'd take a little bit longer. I must get to it and make some blocks too.

  2. I love them all! I never met a log cabin block I didn't like, I think. The bwr is going to be great!
