FNSI - Show and tell

FNSI came around so quickly again ;-)

I had a lunch date with a friend in the City today - our usual place Cafe Amore, but I think we had a new waiter, as when I asked for a glass of Hugo, Unwooded Chardonnay, he came to the table with a glass of red!  Then, as he was clearing the plates away, I asked for another glass of wine .... 15 minutes later he came back and asked if I still wanted the wine ........ I had to say no, as my friend had to go back to work ;-(

Anyway, I just missed the rain on the way home and could spend the afternoon in the sewing room.

I made up a pinwheel block for Susan, for Block Swap Adventure

Pinwheel Block

Susan's colour preferences were Aqua, red, pink, white and whilst she provided several block choices, I chose the Pinwheel block as I had never made this particular block before. I must say, I enjoyed the way it came together, very quick and easy ;-)

I managed to finish off two more HST BOM blocks.  I am using Sassy by Sandy Gervais and am very pleased with how it is turning out.

I even made up a few more loyalty card holders - have fine tuned the pattern I have used previously ;-)  but I can't show you just yet, coz they are for pressies ;-)

Time was spent sorting Christmas fabrics ready for my usual monthly block swap and for the Christmas in July Mug Rug Swap - hopefully I will get some more sewing done over the weekend.

Glad to have been able to cross off a few more things on the To Do List ;-)

Thank you for visiting my blog today - I hope you have a good day.
