I need a new iron .......... do you have any suggestions?

A year ago, I posted on Facebook that my iron had bit the dust ............... well, the replacement iron didn't last long either - I recently took that one back and got a refund! the new one sprung a leak in a different area - not a good thing to mix electricity with water :(

So, I am calling on all of my quilting friends to give me their recommendations for a good iron!

I am looking for an iron that can be filled while upright, has steam on/off selection, with automatic shut off (without continuously beeping to let me know it has turned off!) and is light enough to use easily, but still has enough weight to get a good press/seam!  

yeah, I know ............. I don't want much do I?

and just because I believe that each post should have something pretty to look at ........

here is a beautiful Australian Native bird, a Rainbow Lorikeet sitting in the tree in my front yard :)

OMG - another fail

well that, was a big fail ........................ I intended to complete Lesson 4 of Farmers Wife Quilt Revival by the end of March!

I only got one block done :(
