Running into old friends

Last week, I had a Quilty Day Out to A Quilters Odyssey, for a bit of afternoon tea and some show and tell.

Kate showed us some snazzy vinyl type fabrics

(a kit for the flower was a lovely gift for attending on the day)

I also ran into this lady - Chris.  Chris used to be my ceramics teacher many years ago, and encouraged me to try new techniques.  Over the years I got confident enough to enter a few pieces into the Adelaide Royal Show - photos HERE
