I completed my first Dresden Plate block this week ;-) for Margaret, my June partner for QBSA
Margaret requested Dresden Plate with points and each petal a different
colour alternating light and dark, on black background. I prefer bright happy colours.
I am so pleased with my first effort! I do hope you are happy with it when it arrives,
so much so, I have ordered a Dresden Plate Ruler from OzQuilts so that I can make up some more and not have to use a paper template. I am sure a good ruler will make all the difference in the accuracy ;-)
I also completed a log cabin block for Alison for QBSA
Alison requested LOG CABINS - aqua to teal shades (can have other
colours blended with these) I have reds/oranges/greens etc) with lime
to chartreuse green on the other side (again will have other colours blended).
I do hope I have interpreted your colour request correctly, by keeping the yellow greens on one side and the blue greens on the other ;-)
Thank you for visiting my blog today - I hope you have a good day.
Remember, any day doing something you love makes it a good day ;-)
Doing what you like is freedom. Liking what you do is happiness.
