Hi everyone
hope you are having a great start to your weekend.
The sun was shining here in Adelaide today - for part of the day any way - and we have spent the day in the garden in preparation for a family get together next weekend.
I have also been in spring clean mode this last two weeks - see my posts HERE - it has been great fun ;-)
As far as sewing accomplishments go, so far this month, I have:
- made up my Orange blocks for the Craft Mad Family quilt - they are now ready to post to the other three participants.
- received all these blocks so far
- received some gorgeous Fat Quarters from Heather for the FQ Swap
- packaged up these FQs ready to post
I received this gorgeous block and pattern from Carol of Carl Junction, MO, USA. Carol approached me in August and asked if I would be willing to do a one off swap. I said yes, and this beautiful block is what arrived.
I need to finish making a Log Cabin for her and get it in the post.
Carol is hoping to swap some of her other Christmas Star blocks for some Log Cabin blocks with other quilters. If you would like to swap with Carol, let me know I will pass on her email details.
- received this beautiful block from Kerry for QBSA
Thank you for visiting my blog today - I hope you have a good day.
Remember, any day doing something you love makes it a good day ;-)
Doing what you like is freedom. Liking what you do is happiness.
Oh Cathy... the blocks are great! What a good idea having a one on one swap!
