One of my first quilting experiences started with a Quilt Along in 2010 - the
Jelly Roll Sampler Quilt Along - it was just perfect for a beginner ;-)
Then, in 2012, I did the HST BOM - you can see photos of the completed items in my
Flickr album (I am not sure what has happened to the photos on this blog for the JRSQA - the posts are still here, but the photos seem to have disappeared :( )
Now that I have been well and truly bitten by the QAL bug, I was on the look out for another QAL and discovered the A4A QAL - Aiming for Accuracy Quilt Along run by Quilters Gallery - see link on sidebar to get further information.
It took me a little while to pick out my fabrics - but now that I have, it is full steam ahead.

My Selection |
starting with a 6 FQ pack from Spotlight, and adding some Kaufman Night & Day and other black/yellow/white/grey fabrics from my stash
block #1 - think I might redo this one with better contrast
Block #2 - I love how this one turned out
Block #3 - this one was a little more tricky and involved a bit of 'reverse' sewing ;-)
Thank you for visiting my blog today - I hope you have a good day.
