The first swap is the theme of 'Easter' .............. hmmmmmm ........ I am struggling with this :(
I am not a religious person, and Easter to me means time spent with Mr Fixit's family (mostly for the Easter eggs for the two nephews :), however we do observe Good Friday, with no meat, Hot Cross Buns and a Four Day Weekend!
For us downunder, it is Autumn/Fall so the lovely 'springy' type images do not seem to fit.
I can't seem to get a sense of what my partner would appreciate for this swap - I know I wanted to play with my new Dresden ruler, but I can't seem to find a suitable 'Easter' theme to tie it in. I do realise that my partner will appreciate anything I do, but I would really like to produce something that she would be happy to put on display :)
EDITED: (I should add ......... I am not at all proficient with embroidery :( )
Any suggestions anyone?

I always think of bunnies and eggs for decoration on things at Easter although Shez's idea is a great one as I have often done that as well. Hugs.....
ReplyDeleteHi Cathy - I find it hard too, sometimes having to make for someone that is hard to get a gauge of what they might like... I'm with Shez; go with something featuring bunnies & flowers, it will bring a sense of fun and joy to the mini... & after all, 'new life' is a main theme surrounding Easter...
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you will sew beautifully and your recipient will love it x
