I joined in with a few other bloggers with FAwF/FNwF (Friday Arvo with Friends/Friday Night with Friends) and accomplished this
it was going to be an Angel block for someone that missed out in the Christmas Block Swap, but I am not happy with it, some of my points are chopped off :( major bummer!
so back to the drawing board I go .................... but not today, as today I am off to the Salisbury Stitchers Exhibition - will post more piccies tomorrow :)
Thank you for visiting my blog today - I hope you have a good day.

lovely sewing with you... pity about the block as it is beautiful...

I had to look hard to see the missing points! Shame as it is a pretty block but I would be the same.

You had me puzzled with FAWF; we're our own harshest critics aren't we; it is a beautiful block xx
ReplyDeleteI thought your block looked lovely.
ReplyDeleteSew nice of you to sew the angel block... Sometimes we are very hard on ourselves..
ReplyDeleteCathy... that's one gorgeous block! I know just how you feel when something doesn't meet your own high standards.... I'm super anal about stuff too. The block is so beautiful I'd be doing a quick 'fix' on the not quite perfect point and sending it on as an Angel Block as planned. The lucky girl who gets it will be thrilled to bits. :o)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful block, we are our own hardest critics
ReplyDeleteOoh nice Cathy but you have to be happy with it!
ReplyDeleteI am the queen of sew unpick lol, it looks good thou
ReplyDeleteIt looks fantastic. Great fabric!
ReplyDeleteThey are great colours & print in the block Cathy & the little tree in the middle is super-cute
ReplyDeleteJust visiting from FNwF. You block is very bright and I must admit, I can't see where your points are chopped off. Perhaps you are being too hard on yourself?
