The Hope October Christmas block saga continues ............ the block had found its way back to the sender in the US, was repacked and sent it on it's way back to me - it still has not arrived :(
The package for Mr Fixit from UK that never arrived, so they arranged for a replacement, which arrived in 5 days - turns out it was the original package that arrived, as the replacement has now just been delivered :) We are in contact with the sellers to see what action we need to take to send the replacement back to them.
The computer arrived, but not without a scare .... TNT Couriers was organised to deliver - we only got Box 2 of 2 on Thursday, 11th December. We queried it with the driver that we were expecting two boxes and he said he only had one :( It was a frustrating time trying to track down the other box - of course Box 1 had the actual computer in it :) We finally got Box 1 of 2 on Monday, 15th December.
BTW - the new computer is up and running and now all I have to do is to learn how Windows 8.1 does things - I think we were one of the last people we know still on XP.
