My USA followers .... anyone recognise this quilt?

My second post today, please scroll down to see FNSI show and tell.

I saw this in blogland and thought I would try and spread the word ;-)

Thank you for visiting my blog today - I hope you have a good day.

FNSI Show and Tell

hI everyone

FNSI came around quickly this time ;-)

I worked on my Rainbow Charm Quilt last night.

It had been sitting on my Design Wall for long enough, and I liked the way it was arranged so I put it all together.

Started with the right preparation - glass of wine & choccies.

pulled blocks off the Design Wall

and sewed

this was where I was up to earlier

then sewed some more and got to this stage!

Ooops!

some blocks didn't land where they were supposed to - lost my place a few times when putting it together.

I am liking this very much and want to make it a bit bigger - but that will be for another day.

Thank you for visiting my blog today - I hope you have a good day.

Spotlight had a sale ..... again ;-)

I popped in to Spotlight the other day, especially to get some Modge Podge for another craft project I am working on.

I got some solids to see if they go with the Sassy Layer Cake I won

What do you think?  I think the coral in the middle is a winner - maybe I should get a blue too ;-)

I spied some fat quarter bundles going cheap ;-)

and got some variegated embroidery threads

Now I am off to do some sewing for FNSI.

Will post results tomorrow ;-)

The Postie has been kind this week ;-)

Hi everyone

well, the postie has been kind to me this week - lots of squishies and no bills ;-)

I received this lovely potholder from Lauren in my February Sewing Swap for CraftMad

The photos do not do it justice - the fabric is just GAWGUS!!!!

This is the potholder I made for Annmaree to fill her request for BRIGHT COLOURS

I hope it is bright enough ;-)

I posted earlier HERE about what I made for the February CraftMad Quilt string block swap and here are the blocks I have received
From KellyG - thank you so much, these colours are perfect ;-)

From Annette - I love the florals

From Mandy - I love the soft batiks

For the February 6" swap I received the following blocks from Robyn
Thank You Robyn, I love the fabrics you have chosen
and I just love the cute tape measure included as well ;-)

Here is what I sent Robyn
Robyn asked for any block in any colours with a touch of blue.
I promised myself next time I got a request for 'any block' I was going to do a 'scrappy' block - I am unsure if it worked or not ;-(

Next are the blocks I received from Dawn - yes, I was lucky enough to receive 2 blocks - and so quickly too!
These are for the March Swap for Quilt Block Swap Australia

Thank you so much Dawn - your block will be made and posted to you soon  ;-)

Now for the block received from Michelle for February  Block Swap Adventure

Here is the block I sent her

Wow, that turned into a marathon post!
