CHERISH Do Good Stitches - June Block

after my success with May's block, I got sidetracked in June and was a bit late sending off my June block.

This block was super easy to make, and ended up being a huge 21"
I am really looking forward to seeing the finished quilt with this one :)

Missing Christmas Blocks ...........

not once, but twice!!!!  What on earth is happening with the postal service lately?

You may remember back in May, I sent two blocks to my partner, Traci in USA.

here are the tease photos :)

well, normally when they arrive, I post colour pics ........... well, they have not arrived, but the empty envelope has :(

I felt so badly that Traci's last swap with Christmas Block Swap was not a successful one, that I made two replacement blocks

and they have gone missing too!  so very frustrating!

next up is a block for JanF - a new member of our Christmas swap group - since it was very close to the start of the month when she joined, I offered to swap with her first (one of the benefits of being the Swap Co-Ordinator I guess :) )  here is my colour reveal

 my father passed away most unexpectedly

RIP Dad - June 1933 - July 2014
