Adelaide Craft & Quilt Fair

I went to the Adelaide Craft and Quilt Fair yesterday - lots of walking around, lots of lovely things to see, lots of inspiration, but I was very restrained in my purchases .............. only getting what was 'needed' ;-)

My Secret Mini

I took part in Cheryll's Mini Quilt Swap.

The task was to make up a Mini Quilt (complete with hanging pocket) and the theme was Flowers.

I posted a tease photo earlier. 

Some of you may remember my post about the 9" Tulip Block I made for a block swap partner - well it bothered me that I couldn't work out the maths, so Mr Fixit very patiently sat down with me and helped me :)

I am getting really close now to making up my 'Purple Patch' quilt.  Now that I have finished the top for the A4A QuiltAlong, I can put it back on the design wall and sew it up.
