Cherish Do. Good Stitches - November 2017

An Arrow block, was the November 2017 block for Cherish - our final block for the year - thus giving quilters time to complete their quilts ready for the start of 2018.

I am hoping to get some quilting done over the next week or so - Mr Fixit will be suitably entertained by the cricket and I will be free to potter around to my hearts content!

Where have I been?

I've been to London to visit the Queen ;)   Oh, how I wish!

I have been busy doing other 'stuff' and have neglected blogging about what has been happening in my sewing room  ...... hangs head in shame.

Doing Good Stitches

I am currently the host of the CHERISH circle of do. Good Stitches {a Charity Bee} - we are an Australian group of stitchers/quilters that forms part of the wider circle of do. Good Stitches.  We make quilts to benefit our local communities with various charities being chosen by the individual quilter.

Belated Spring Clean

I spent a good part of Sunday tidying up my sewing room - it needed it, there was bits and pieces everywhere - I could not have cut any fabric if I needed to - a lot of bits were left over from when I made the bag for my friend, Joy.

I forgot to take a photo of what it was like before I started, but here it is now :)
