I must confess, I was behind in my block swaps - I was having difficulty picking my fabrics for one of the blocks - no matter what I tried, I was not happy ;-(
After several visits to Spotlight, I came across some fabric that I think my swap partner will be happy with.
So I don't spoil the surprise for my partners, I will only post a snippet of the blocks I completed today.
First up, my block for Theresa, my February partner for Block Swap Adventure.
Next up is a block for Shauna, my February partner for Christmas Block Swap
Ladies, your blocks will be in the mail on Monday, with my apologies for taking so long.
I was able to add the borders to my black & white log cabin quilt
Next I got to make up another string heart block for block lotto
I love the log cabin! So hard to believe that I'm just starting my Friday night and you are already in tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteLOL - yes, it is 8.30 am Saturday for me ;-)
ReplyDeleteGreat work Cathy. I love your quilt. Black and white always looks stunning. You did a nice job of arranging the log cabin blocks too. Congrats. :)
ReplyDeleteWow you got a lot done! Love the log cabin, it's so dramatic! My Friday night sew in turned into a 'snore-in' - I was so tired from the week I fell asleep on the lounge. Hopefully I can sneak in a few hours this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteYou sure got a lot done. Your log cabin quilt is amazing!
ReplyDeleteYour're so lucky to be able to stretch FNSI out for a lot of the day! And you accomplished so much! Everything is lovely, but I really admire the string heart blocks.
