Hi everyone
I was at the local shopping centre posting off my latest block to USA and I came across a display for a local quilting group (didn't know there was one this close ;-)) with a BEAUTIFUL Quilt on display and it was up for raffle - of course I bought a ticket - actually I got two tickets ;-)
They mentioned that there was a 'new' quilt store opened in another shopping centre just a few minutes drive from me - it has been open for about 6 months or so .....
A Quilter's Odyssey is at Modbury Triangle Shopping Centre, and is a real pleasure to walk around.
It is a beautifully laid out bright and cheery shop and Kate, the owner was so helpful.
I spent up ...............
I fell in love with this layer cake ;-)
now I have so many ideas running through my head .............. I want to go back with a real plan in mind.
Thank you for visiting my blog today - I hope you have a good day.
Remember, any day doing something you love makes it a good day ;-)
Doing what you like is freedom. Liking what you do is happiness.
Thanks for that Cathy, I had heard there was a quilt shop at the Modbury Triangle but I haven't had a chance to call in for a look yet. I'm definitely going to have to head over there as there is a shortage of quilting shops in the North Eastern suburbs!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good shopping day!! Those fabrics are gorgeous!!! ... Wish we had more than one quilting fabric shop, but then, the one we do have is pretty fabulous!!! ... Just need to order from down south when I want pre cuts, lol!!!
