For November, I managed to get some time in the sewing room, in between preparing for my camera club AGM & end of year Trophy presentation night. I am no longer Secretary for my camera club, so hopefully I will be able to spend more time next year out and about actually taking photos!
I have very little low volume fabrics in my stash, and had an involuntary groan when I saw our Quilter's selection of block for November. I did intend to get out and purchase some fabrics, but as is the case with most quilters, a very generous offer of low volume 5" squares was made by our Quilter, Jackie, which I accepted and here are my blocks, all done and dusted!
It has been ridiculously hot here in Adelaide - whatever happened to the beautiful 22-25C days in the lead up to January? Nope, bam, straight into 38C! Oh, how I hate the heat!
I used the final FNwF for 2018 to sew my rows together (there was a bit of reverse sewing, as I had an issue with tension on my machine). It was nice to be sewing with my quilty friends again, even if it was only in spirit :)
Now to get my blocks in the post!
Thank you for visiting my blog today - I hope you have a good day - any day doing something you love makes it a good day ;-)
